Warframe Syndicate Guide: Unlock Rewards

What are Syndicates and how can I join them?

Syndicates are factions in Warframe with distinct beliefs and goals, offering players the opportunity to align themselves and gain access to unique rewards. Players can join a Syndicate starting at Mastery Rank 3. Be mindful of your choice though, as gaining Standing with one Syndicate will cause you to lose Standing with its rivals. There are currently 10 Syndicates players can choose from, each with its own unique rewards, lore, and themes.

To join a Syndicate, visit your Orbiter and activate the Syndicate console located to the left of the Navigation platform. From there, you can select a Syndicate and initiate your Tenno into it. Once you have joined, you can start accumulating Standing and rise through the ranks.

What is Standing and how do I gain it?

Standing is a point system that represents your reputation within a Syndicate, acting as a currency for purchasing rewards. Gaining enough Standing allows you to upgrade your Syndicate ranking, unlocking more powerful and exclusive rewards.

The primary way to earn Standing is by equipping a Syndicate’s sigil on your Warframe. Visit your Arsenal, go to the Appearance tab for your Warframe, select “Regalia,” and assign the Sigil to your Warframe’s front or back. Remember, you can only equip one Syndicate Sigil at a time. By completing missions with a Syndicate Sigil equipped, you will gain Standing for that Syndicate and its allies at the end of each mission. Keep in mind that there is a daily limit to how much Standing you can earn this way. For additional Standing, participate in Syndicate Alerts. These special missions can be found on your Navigation screen by clicking the Syndicate icon in the top right corner. Syndicate medallions can also be found during these missions and can be collected and exchanged for even more Standing at the Syndicate’s Relay enclave.

What kind of rewards can I get from my Syndicate?

Syndicates offer a variety of rewards, starting with basic items like Specters, packs of random Void Relics, and consumable items. However, as you rank up, the rewards become more impressive.

At Rank 4, you unlock access to Weapon Augment Mods, which enhance the stats of Syndicate-favored weapons and grant them special effects when enough Affinity is gained during a mission. This effect can range from a radial elemental attack to temporary stat buffs or health, energy, or shield restoration.

Reaching Rank 5 unlocks even more exciting rewards, including Warframe Augment Mods, Syndicate-exclusive weapons, unique Syandanas, and Captura scenes. Warframe Augment Mods significantly alter and empower your Warframe abilities. Syndicate weapons feature higher base stats compared to non-Syndicate variants, along with the special effects provided by their respective Weapon Augment Mods. Finally, the unique Syandanas and Captura scenes help you personalize and showcase your Warframe’s appearance.

How can I get rewards from other Syndicates?

Limited to a small number of Syndicates at a time, players may find themselves wanting mods or weapons offered by Syndicates they’re not allied with. Fortunately, unranked Syndicate mods and weapons are tradeable between players. You can acquire them from other players using Platinum or offer your own Syndicate’s exclusive items in exchange. This allows players to access desirable rewards despite their Syndicate allegiances.

Are there any penalties for having a bad reputation with a Syndicate?

While gaining Standing with chosen Syndicates, players will inevitably lose Standing with their rivals, potentially reaching a point of intense animosity. Having a bad reputation with a Syndicate can result in them sending Death Squads to disrupt your missions. These Death Squads consist of powerful Eximus units, their type depending on the hostile Syndicate. Be prepared to face these challenges if you have negative relationships with multiple Syndicates.

Join the club!

Syndicates offer valuable rewards and unique items, making them a valuable addition to your Warframe journey. Wear your Syndicate Sigil with pride, fight off Death Squads, and earn Standing. The benefits of ranking up within a Syndicate will make the effort well worth it.
