
NEW MAPS
Three new 6v6 maps have been introduced: Das Haus, a reimagining of the Vanguard map; Skidgrow, an overgrown version of Skidrow; and Airborne, a pestilence-ridden variant of Terminal. These maps offer diverse environments and strategic possibilities, promising thrilling new experiences for players in Multiplayer. Das Haus’ return from Call of Duty: Vanguard brings a familiar yet revitalized feel to the game, while Skidgrow and Airborne introduce fresh and unique challenges.
NEW WEAPONS
Two new additions enhance the arsenal: the SOA Subverter battle rifle, a high-impact weapon excelling at mid to long-range engagements due to its deliberate fire rate and predictable recoil; and the Soulrender melee weapon, a ceremonial blade designed for close-quarters combat. These additions offer players diverse tactical options, balancing close-range and long-range playstyles effectively.
NEW AFTERMARKET PARTS
The JAK Backsaw Kit for the Holger 556 and the JAK Outlaw-277 Kit for the BAS-B introduce enhancements, focusing on magazine capacity and firing mechanisms. The Backsaw Kit transforms the Holger 556 with a high-capacity drum and double-barrel configuration. The Outlaw-277 Kit equips the BAS-B with a lever-action, increasing accuracy at the expense of fire rate. Players can customize weapons with these aftermarket parts to suit their playstyles.
NEW MODES
The Bounty mode pits teams in a Team Deathmatch-style encounter with unlimited lives, culminating in victory for the team reaching the elimination score first. Juggermosh mode lets players don Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines-inspired cosmetics, emphasizing heavy combat with imposing armor. These new modes offer diverse gameplay experiences and add new depth to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer.
NEW EVENTS
Two major events celebrate popular franchises. Dune: Rule of Fate allows players to engage in a new event, accumulating XP for exclusive rewards. Meanwhile, Warhammer 40,000: For the Emperor! tasks players with completing in-game challenges for rewards related to this grim dark sci-fi universe. These events provide players with extra content and activities, introducing new narratives, challenges, and rewards.
GLOBAL
Aiming down sights now instantly centers the crosshair on the player’s screen for improved precision. Activision aims to refine aiming mechanics for increased responsiveness and accuracy in Modern Warfare III and Warzone.

CUSTOMIZATION
Numerous issues concerning blueprint transparency, color accuracy, and gunsmith preview functionality have been resolved. The Hans Zimmer MW2 music pack is once again playable during matches, bringing back a beloved sound design element.
MULTIPLAYER
Numerous UI/UX improvements enhance the player experience. These enhancements improve filtering and organization of gun attachments and enhancements for tracking and monitoring weekly challenges. These changes contribute to a better player experience, aiming for more organized information and easier access.
UI/UX
The Gunsmith now offers attachment filtering by subcategories (Optics, Muzzles, Underbarrels), making customization more efficient. Players can now track up to 5 active challenges outside the main challenge menu. A “Mark All Read” button in the notification center simplifies managing social interactions. Further improvements to the user interface offer more structure, organization, and convenient management tools to players.
PROGRESSION
Weekly challenges have been adjusted for accurate progression tracking and consistency, particularly in Semi-Auto Fire mode. This ensures that players accurately earn rewards and progression in weekly and seasonal challenges.
MAPS
Maps like Scrapyard, Shipment, Vista, and Dome (MWII Carry-Forward), and Operation Tin Man received various refinements, including adjustments to playable areas, spawn points, and trap timings to enhance balance and gameplay experiences. This improvement is particularly noticeable in Operation Tin Man’s Trap timing and interaction with Turrets, impacting the overall strategic aspects of these maps. These revisions enhance tactical play in various maps, including adjustments to the playable areas and trap interactions within these maps.
MODES
Bug fixes resolve issues in Gun Game, preventing players from becoming stuck without weapons, and Headquarters, preventing enemy capture in Hardcore mode. Training Course (Private Match) fixes an issue where using a Cruise Missile outside the combat zone stalled progression.
WEAPONS & ATTACHMENTS
Numerous weapon adjustments across various classes (Assault Rifles, Battle Rifles, Submachine Guns, Shotguns, Light Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, Handguns, and Launchers) have been implemented. These modifications are geared toward balancing weapons and attachments. Significant changes include alterations to recoil patterns, aim-down-sight times, movement speeds, and damage ranges. This extensive balancing aims to refine the gameplay experience by addressing weapon effectiveness and balance.
EQUIPMENT
Fixes address bugs in tactical equipment, like Stun and EMD Grenades. UI enhancements improve communication related to enemy tracking and presence on the minimap.
FIELD UPGRADES
Improvements optimize the A.C.S. Field Upgrade, providing enhanced detection of objective flags in Domination Mode.
KILLSTREAKS
Fixes resolve issues in Cluster Mine and Remote Turret Killstreaks, addressing deployment and compatibility issues.
MWIII RANKED PLAY
Weapon and equipment restrictions have been added for Ranked Play, including certain melee weapons and vests. Bug fixes ensure that players earn Ranked rewards and awards for top-tier performance.
ZOMBIES
Modern Warfare Zombies experiences significant updates. A new Story Mission, Operation Deadbolt, introduces a new narrative and gameplay experience. A new Dark Aether Rift provides a fresh experience with additional challenges, and new Acquisitions and Schematics are introduced. Containment Levels offer tiered Exfil streaks and corresponding rewards. A new Warlord, Keres, a chemical warfare specialist, adds a new enemy to the roster.
