What kind of build is this?
The Lightning Spear Hunter is a currently popular build in Path of Exile 2 that can easily be used to kill dozens of enemies on the screen with just one click. To do this, it uses the “Lightning Spear” ability, which fires many lightning bolts in all directions with each hit of the spear, flooding the entire screen with attacks.
Players celebrate the build mainly because of its high clearspeed, but in the endgame it has no problems with bosses, provided you manage to get good gear. The build currently benefits greatly from the current balancing as well as the support gems and items that favor critical hits and movement speed.

How does the build work?
As the name suggests, the build is all about upgrading the “Lightning Spear” ability and using it as a full-fledged attack against the enemies. The build relies a lot on getting as fast as possible, which not only helps for good efficiency when grinding, but also for damage.
In gameplay, you want to improve your ability “Lightning Spear” with the support gem “Volt”, which ensures that you fire even more lightning than you already do with the Lightning Spear, which increases your damage and the chance of killing all enemies at once immensely. To do this, however, you have to move as quickly and as much as possible.
To do this, you use the unique item “The Black Insignia Corsair Cap”, which gives you the “Tailwind” buff when you land a critical hit, which should be the case with almost every attack. The buff can stack up to 10 times, giving you 10% more movement speed as well as higher dodge chances and ability speed. However, the buff disappears when you are hit.
Once you’ve set up your setup, run through the map as much as possible and throw your “Lightning Spear” at the enemies. The resulting chain reaction should eradicate all enemies on the screen directly. By the time you get to the next enemies, “Volt” has already recharged because you’ve walked enough.
