What Are Goblin Workers?
Goblin Workers are a special type of worker in Clash of Clans that can be hired to speed up building and upgrading processes. There are two types of Goblin Workers: Goblin Builders and Goblin Researchers. Goblin Builders can upgrade buildings, clear obstacles, and even upgrade Heroes, while Goblin Researchers are responsible for upgrading units and spells in the Laboratory.
The main advantage of Goblin Workers is that they can work even when your regular villagers are busy or on cooldown. However, using Goblin Workers comes at a cost: gems. You’ll need to spend gems in addition to the regular resources required for the upgrade or build.
What Does the Goblin Builder Do?
The Goblin Builder is a versatile worker that can handle a variety of tasks. Here’s what they can do:
- Upgrade buildings (including walls, defenses, and traps)
- Clear obstacles (trees, rocks, and bushes)
- Upgrade Heroes
- Use Forge slots to improve your troops’ stats
While Goblin Builders can perform the same tasks as regular villagers, they come with a cost. They require gems to work, which can make them more expensive than regular builders, especially for large upgrades.
How to Unlock the Goblin Builder?
To unlock the Goblin Builder, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Town Hall level 7 or higher: This will require you to dedicate time to building and upgrading your village.
- 5 Builder’s Huts built: These are essential for maximizing your building efficiency, especially with the Goblin Builders.
Keep in mind that Goblin Workers only appear during the “Work for Hire!” event, which is a recurring yearly event. Once the event starts, you will be able to hire Goblin Builders and Researchers.
The Event is Happening Now?!
As of now , the “Work for Hire!” event is currently running! This means you can hire Goblin Workers and speed up your village progress. If you’re a veteran player with a high-level Town Hall and 5 Builder’s Huts, you’re good to go!
For newer players, you may need to wait until next year’s “Work for Hire!” event to take advantage of these helpful Goblins. In the meantime, focus on upgrading your Town Hall and building your Builder’s Huts to prepare for the next event.
