Nightingale is an open-world PVE-focused survival and building game. With construction, production, combat, exploration, and other gameplay elements, Nightingale allows for both single-player and multiplayer online play. Building your ideal base is a key part of the Nightingale experience. You have a wide variety of styles, decorations, and settings to choose from, along with a dynamic and detailed building system. So how do you build your dream base in Nightingale? Let’s dive into the steps.

Get Schematics

When you begin playing, you’ll only have a few basic schematics. You can purchase more schematics from elite merchants found throughout the kingdom. Different merchants sell schematics in different styles. For example, the Advanced Stone Walls sold by Desert Astrolabe are Crude style, while the Advanced Walls sold by Forest Hunt are Tudor style. You can also find schematics in Desert, Shack, Stave, Pagoda, and Bhutan styles.

The materials they sell for building houses generally include Stone Roofs, Stone Walls, Wood Roofs, Wood Walls, Floors, and Basic Sets. You have the freedom to choose which style and materials you prefer.

Create Blueprint

Once you have enough schematics, it’s time to draw your blueprint. Press X to enter Building Mode, or Down on a controller’s D-Pad. Select the Building tab to view your unlocked schematics. Everything else snaps to the foundation, so it’s essential to start there. Determine the base of your preferred design and sketch out the dimensions of your house. Then, as you layout your house, snap staircases, roofs, walls, and other items. While in Building Mode, you can rearrange or remove items if you position them improperly.

• Build houses where there are no trees to avoid trees growing back inside your house.
• Don’t build your house on a tree stump as the tree may grow back.
• During construction, pay attention to the shape of your house to ensure you’re satisfied with it.
• If you want to delete something you can’t reach, bind it to something else you can reach so you can delete both at the same time.

How to Move Your House?

If you realize you need to relocate your house, perhaps due to tree growth or an unsatisfactory location, you can do so. Here’s how:

1. Move all your furniture to the open space outside your house.
2. Use the “Remove” function in Building Mode to dismantle your house.
3. Press and hold the interaction button to quickly collect all the building materials and store them in a container.
4. Use the move function to place the chest in your desired location.
5. Rebuild your house using building mode.
6. Finally, move your furniture back into the house.

If you need to move a long distance, dismantle all the furniture, store it in containers, and rebuild it after the new house is constructed.
