Ana Skins Ranked, Worst to Best - iGV

Ana Amari, Overwatch’s seasoned support sniper, is a formidable force on the battlefield. Her unique kit, blending healing and damage, makes her a valuable asset to any team. But beyond her gameplay, Ana’s skins offer a glimpse into her rich history and personality. From her days as a founding member of Overwatch to her more recent clandestine operations, there’s a skin to suit every Ana player. This list will rank all of Ana’s skins, from the least impressive to the absolute best, based on design, lore relevance, and overall appeal.

Least

The bottom tier of Ana’s skins primarily consists of the Rare recolors. These skins, like Turquoise, Citrine, and Rose, offer minimal changes, simply altering Ana’s color palette without adding any distinct features or lore significance. While affordable, they lack the visual impact and storytelling elements that make other skins more appealing. These are the skins you equip when you’re just starting out, or when you really, really like a particular shade.

Moving up slightly, the Night Owl epic skin also leaves much to be desired. While it does offer a unique color scheme, the overall design is rather bland and doesn’t particularly stand out among Ana’s other options. It feels like a missed opportunity to create a truly memorable and visually striking skin.

Furthermore, the Cobalt skin, while a deeper color than the rare recolors, is still very simple and doesn’t offer much visual excitement. It doesn’t tie into Ana’s story or showcase any unique aspects of her character, making it one of the less interesting skins available.

Lastly, the Peacock skin, despite its interesting color scheme, doesn’t quite capture the essence of Ana’s character or offer any significant visual appeal. It feels somewhat generic and doesn’t add much to Ana’s overall aesthetic. The colors also do not work with her base model.

Average

In the average category, we find skins that have some redeeming qualities but ultimately fall short of being truly exceptional. The Merciful skin is one such example. While it hints at Ana’s support role and connection to Mercy, the design is fairly basic and doesn’t offer much visual flair.

The Wasteland skin attempts to capture a post-apocalyptic aesthetic but feels somewhat generic and lacks the unique details that would make it truly stand out. The mask is interesting, but the rest of the outfit feels a bit uninspired.

Similarly, the Tal skin offers a different color scheme and a slight change in Ana’s attire, but it doesn’t have any significant lore connections or visual impact. It’s a decent skin, but there are many better options available.

Finally, Soot is another unremarkable skin. While the color scheme is darker and more subdued than some of the others, it doesn’t offer any unique features or lore relevance. It’s a skin that blends into the background and doesn’t make much of an impression.

Great

Moving into the “Great” tier, we find skins that offer a good balance of visual appeal, lore relevance, and overall design. The Snow Owl skin is a prime example. It gives Ana a striking winter outfit, complete with a feathered headdress, evoking a sense of wisdom and serenity.

The Horus skin is another strong contender, showcasing a younger version of Ana in her prime, adorned with Egyptian-themed armor. It’s a visually appealing skin that pays homage to her heritage and former glory.

The Corsair skin is a fun and unique take on Ana, transforming her into a swashbuckling pirate. While it may not have any direct lore connections, the design is well-executed and adds a touch of whimsy to her character.

Lastly, the Ghoul skin, while somewhat unconventional, is undeniably striking. It transforms Ana into a terrifying creature of the night, with glowing eyes and a ghoulish visage. This skin is perfect for those who want to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies.

Best

The “Best” Ana skins are those that excel in all areas, offering stunning visuals, compelling lore connections, and a unique representation of her character. The Captain Amari skin is a standout example. This skin showcases Ana in her Overwatch uniform, complete with her signature sniper rifle and a look of unwavering determination. It’s a powerful reminder of her leadership and dedication to the organization.

The Shrike skin is another exceptional choice. This skin depicts Ana during her time as a vigilante, operating under the codename “Shrike.” The design is sleek and stealthy, reflecting her clandestine activities and her unwavering commitment to justice.

Finally, the Bastet skin is a must-have for any Ana player. Inspired by the Egyptian goddess of protection and cats, this skin gives Ana a regal and powerful appearance, complete with golden armor and a feline-inspired mask. It’s a stunning tribute to her heritage and her unwavering dedication to protecting those she cares about.

These skins are amazing because of their great designs and solid backstory.
