Circe’s Bond is the coveted new ring in World of Warcraft. But thanks to timekeeping, many would have ignored him for a long time.
Patch 11.0.7 has been live in World of Warcraft for a few days. In “good, old” Blizzard fashion, not everything went as smoothly as the developers thought. Because although Blizzard tried to make the ring really “exaggeratedly strong” this time, so that every character wants to use it at all costs, it almost didn’t work. This is due to an old, well-known problem: timegating. For those looking to bypass the grind or speed up their progress, you can Buy WOW Gold and enhance your gameplay experience today!
Everyone wants to have the one ring in WoW
What kind of ring is this?
Circe’s Hoop is a ring that hardly any character can ignore. The ring is available very quickly on Siren Island and it starts with an item level of 639 – so the entry level is as high as the best possible equipment currently available in the game. Every week, the item level is even increased, so that you can’t get past the ring.
Unlike other rings, however, Circe’s Frost must be socketed with special gems, the Citrines, which are also available on Siren Island. Citrines grant different effects, such as additional healing, a lightning effect, or secondary attributes.
What was the problem?
Circe’s hoop is equipped with various citrines. The gems can be unlocked through various events and quests on Siren Island. However, not all of these events will be available in the first week.
As a result, some classes could not get their best citrine directly and the ring became unattractive.
Blizzard saves the ring with hotfix in WoW
How did Blizzard solve the problem?
Less than two days after the release of the patch, Blizzard released a quick hotfix to remove the timegating. Now, the events on the island will grant Citrine over and over again until you complete the collection. This means that all classes can farm exactly the gems they need for their perfect ring.
Are there still problems?
Yes. The hotfix that freed all citrines from timegating unfortunately also brought another bug with it. Because although all gemstones are available in theory, this is only true in theory.
One of the three excavation events is currently still bugged and does not grant the specified reward upon completion. As a result, the “Best in Slot” gem is still unavailable for some classes.
However, this is likely to be only a temporary problem and another hotfix – which is sure to go live in the next few days – will fix that as well. As soon as the time comes, we will update this article here.
