Persona 3 Reload Theurgy Attacks & Charging

Persona 3 Reload Theurgy Attacks

What are Theurgy Abilities

Persona 3 Reload introduces Theurgy Abilities, a unique mechanic inspired by Persona 5 Royal’s Showtime system. These powerful, character-specific ultimate skills are unlocked later in the game. Each member of the S.E.E.S. team possesses a distinct Theurgy ability, requiring specific actions or conditions to charge.

Upon unlocking, Theurgy meters appear on the right side of the screen. These meters fill up during combat or through particular actions. Once the meter is full, the character can unleash their Theurgy attack.

How to Unlock Theurgy Abilities

Theurgy abilities are unlocked through normal gameplay progression. There are no special actions or tasks beyond advancing the story.

The Protagonist’s Theurgy is unique, relying on Fusion Spells. Using Ultimate abilities with selected Fusion Spells activates the Theurgy, with varied effects depending on the spell.

List of All Protagonist Fusion Spells

The Protagonist’s Theurgy mechanic relies on Fusion Spells. These powerful attacks combine two different Persona, unlocking a unique ability when used with an ultimate skill.

  • Cadenza (Orpheus + Apsaras): Restores allied HP by 50%, alongside significant boosts to accuracy and evasion.
  • Jack Brothers (Jack-o’-Lantern + Jack Frost): Inflicts substantial Almighty damage, along with a chance to inflict the Down status effect.
  • King and I (Black Frost + King Frost): A powerful Ice attack, ignoring enemy resistance and with a high chance of freezing the target.
  • Best Friends (Decarabia + Forneus): Deals double the damage of a selected ally’s attack, either physical or magical, in this powerful attack.
  • Scarlet Havoc (Siegfried + Mithras): Deals significant Slash damage to all enemies, bypassing their resistances.

All Fusion Spells are unlocked during normal gameplay progression through the Velvet Room’s special fusion options. Elizabeth, in the Velvet Room, will notify players of newly unlocked Fusion Spells, which are instantly usable regardless of equip status.
