The cap on Harbinger Crests in World of Warcraft has been dropped. From now on, you can collect infinitely powerful equipment – in light content.

Good equipment in World of Warcraft is what everyone wants. As of today, farming it is possible in a new way, as the limits on one of the most important resources have been removed. We reveal what has changed in the harbinger crests. Buy WOW Gold now to gear up faster and take full advantage of these changes!

What has been changed?

With the weekly reset of 11.12.2024, the limitation that previously existed on the various harbinger coats of arms was lifted. Previously, it was only possible to collect 90 of each type of coat of arms per week, with the maximum increasing every week.

Now this limitation has completely disappeared.

What do you need coats of arms for?

Harbinger Crests in their various levels are necessary to upgrade equipment or to have particularly powerful equipment crafted by craftsmen. Depending on which “track” an item is on (adventurer, champion, hero, etc.), you can use the crests to tease a few more item levels out of an item and thus gain a lot of power.

What does that mean? Especially players at the highest level can now upgrade their equipment without crest limit until they have the best possible equipment.

But characters at the bottom of the system also benefit from it.

The possibilities that are given should also be interesting for those who don’t play the most difficult content. For example, those who don’t dare to enter the highest “Mythic+” dungeons, heroic or even mythic raids can now farm infinite upgrades even with “easy” content. This can take an extreme amount of time, but in this case, time can outweigh the skill.

Because you can convert 90 coats of arms of a lower level into 15 coats of arms of the next higher level. This results in the following list to trade in and a virtually endless method to get the best emblems – even without playing particularly hard content. You can see the cost for every 15 of a coat of arms type here:

Desired coat of armsCost in Weathered Harbinger CrestCost in Carved Harbinger CrestCost in Rune-Adorned Harbinger Crest
Carved Harbinger Coat of Arms (15)90
Rune-Adorned Harbinger Crest (15)54090
Gilded Harbinger Coat of Arms (15)3.24054090

Since you can even farm Weathered Harbinger Crests entirely in the open world – for example, by collecting the Azerite Orbs in the active area while flying – you can theoretically farm an infinite amount without ever having to play difficult content.

If you want the “perfect” equipment, you can start farming now, because the barriers have fallen for the rest of Season 1. Patch 11.0.7 will be released next week (12/18/2024) and will bring a new island and an extremely powerful ring that should make the rest of Season 1 much easier.
