What content can players expect? In Path of Exile 2, Acts 1–3 and the endgame will initially be available in Early Access. To compensate for the missing Acts 4-6, which are supposed to be available in the full version of the game, the developers have introduced the Cruel mode.
Once you’ve completed Act 3, you’ll play through the game again from Act 1 to Act 3 in Cruel Mode, but this time the difficulty is higher than before. The campaign is supposed to last about 25 hours, then you will have completed the first three acts.
What is the maximum level? The level limit is level 100. After completing Act 3 in Cruel Mode, you’ll be around level 65. From there, it’s off to the endgame.
What endgame content is available in Early Access? Instead of first completing all the acts and then concentrating on the endgame, the developers have directly designed new and improved endgame game modes. Available from the beginning:
- Trial of the Sekhemas (Sanctum): A challenge that will test your skill and patience until the endgame.
- The Trial of the Chaos God (Ultimatum): In the Vaal Jungle, you can choose between safe rewards or riskier challenges to earn bigger wins.
- Expedition: An excavation adventure in which you explore ancient ruins with explosives, hold your own against the resurrected dead and collect valuable artifacts through increasing risks.
- Ritual: You sacrifice the essence of defeated monsters at ritual altars to fight them again and earn powerful rewards.
- Delirium: A foggy chaos that leads you into nightmarish dangers, where growing risk beckons with increasingly rich rewards.
- Pinnacle: A menacing fortress with a central labyrinth of flames that will test your skills.
These game modes are said to represent about half of those available in the full version, so there will be some new content at the full release. Buy POE 2 Currency today and get ready for the ultimate experience!
