What to Expect from Monster Hunter Rise Moving On

Monster Hunter Rise has been receiving consistent updates since its release, with new content including free and paid DLC. Some of the most popular monsters, like the Bazelgeuse and Teostra, were introduced as DLC. The Sunbreak expansion also added new areas, monsters, and content for hunters to explore.

While the game is expected to receive fewer updates moving forward, there is still new content on the horizon. Capcom has announced a crossover event with Raid Shadow Legends, introducing new champions inspired by Monster Hunter Rise. The collaboration features five new champions, including the Rathalos Blademaster.

What Do We Know About Monster Hunter Wilds?

While we don’t have much information about Monster Hunter Wilds, the recently released trailer has given players an idea of what to expect. Based on the trailer, it appears that Wilds will be a direct sequel to Monster Hunter World, incorporating popular features from Rise like rideable mounts.

The open-world setting is a significant change for the franchise, which has traditionally featured instance-based exploration and combat. This departure from the established formula is a potential game changer for the series, offering new opportunities for exploration and immersion.

While Monster Hunter Rise is reaching the end of its content cycle, players can still look forward to new updates and collaborations. Meanwhile, the excitement for Monster Hunter Wilds is growing, with players eagerly anticipating the release of the new open-world adventure.
